Experience
Using a web hosting service, I installed a WordPress site onto a subdomain. Then I immeadiately protected my site with some security plug-ins, because I learned that WordPress sites are common targets for hackers. Once I got familiar with navigating through the system I dove into creating a site for a chiropractic office called Thoracic Park. While building the site, I personally found it easier to work within the live editor, because I could see the changes I was making as they were happening. Although, some widgets could not be edited directly in the live editor. So, I would need to occasionally navigate back through my dashboard to make the necessary changes.

Final Thoughts
All in all, I thought that it was very valuable to learn how to work with WordPress, and it was really eye opening to see how many customization options exist within all of its plug-ins and widgets.
