What Sculpture Park is
Sculpture Park was an idea started by powerhouse productions started in 2012. It's a public park along the Davison Expressway, combining elements of skateboarding with public art and greenspace into a unique neighborhood landmark. Ride It is an evolving experience of art and skateable surfaces.Our Park was done with notable skater/builders Evergreen Skateparks through phases through the years to create a community based skate park by artists for kids in the area and in something to keep them out of trouble and bring many skate fans and artists together.
Our Goals and Plans
We are contuniously building the park in phases thankfully because of Evergreen skate parks who have built our phase two and threee additons and we plan to build the park furthermore in the future as our funds grow and we get donations.We plan to do so by hosting and leading skate events through the summer and also trying something new by occasionally on the weekends setting up a pop up store selling different merchandise from different detroit artists and brands.
