Chevy’s FNR

Introduced at the Shanghai auto show this week, Chevy’s FNR concept basically defies all description. The closest thing I can come up with is that it looks like you took a next-gen Volt, mixed it with a BMW i8, and sent the two spiraling 50 years into the future.

Designed by GM’s Shanghai-based Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center team, they are described as featuring a “futuristic capsule design.” That’s not an understatement, needless to say. Once you get beyond the insane design, there’s a set of swinging doors.

Lamborghini Huracán

From our past, we’ve learned perfection. This is how the first model of the Lamborghini Huracán was born. More performance, more control, more innovation. With its 610 CV aspirated V10 engine, the Huracán can take you from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds.

Engineered to guarantee the best performance and control under any driving condition, it’s easy to take it to the limit, not to mention extremely fun, thanks to technology like the Lamborghini Doppia Frizione (LDF) dual clutch gearbox.

Aston Martin Vanquish

The first-generation Aston Martin Vanquish, called the V12 Vanquish, was available in the U.S. for the 2002 to 2006 model years and was powered by a 450-hp 5.9-liter V-12 paired to a six-speed automated manual transmission.

During its production run, the car appeared in a number of action films including the James Bond film “Die Another Day.” Two cabin configurations were offered, 2+0 or a 2+2, the latter of which added two jump seats.

Ferrari Formula One

The LaFerrari needs few superlatives. It is our most ambitious project yet, pushing the boundaries of technology for a road car. It gathers together the marque’s greatest technical capabilities from both GT and Formula 1 engineering.

Ferrari’s first production car is powered by the F1-derived HY-KERS hybrid drivetrain making 788 hp at 9000 rpm, for a power sum of 949 hp and 663 lb-ft of torque. Pushing the boundaries of technolgy.
