"I'm not sure if I like what I did here or not."
Being unsure is part of the process
I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking that design comes with a lot of uncertainty. Will the client like it? Is it feasibly possibly to build? Perhaps the most agonizing kind of uncertainty is when the designer is unsure of their work. We've all been there. But, this article from Toptal discusses how it is normal and healthy to question our work. And how people might be impressed with a designers awareness of their shortcomings. Rather than providing "bs" as to why it is not up to standard.
h1 font: panforte, h2 font: Oranienbaum, paragrpah font: CaboSlab.
The h1 is a clean serif that is also interesting to look at, almost like a script but much more readable. The h2 is the still roundish but those feet add needed contrast amongst the other two fonts. The paragraph font is my favorite with it's newsprint like qualities. But it is still smooth like a sans serif.
The roundness of the header font and the paragrpah font mesh well. The paragraph font, CaboSlab, looks almost like a blog post font, which I feel goes well with the article's subject of telling designers it okay to be unsure. Almost like its in an chat room. And then the h2 font contrast well against the two smoother fonts but is still slightly rounded so they're all still cohesive.
