Logo Creation
This was the first rendition of a logo done for Highly Favored Records, an R&B Gospel singer referred to me by a friend. Unfortunately they decided to go with a more simple version, ditching the record idea.
Digital Illustration
This is a digital illustration inspired by Roy Lichtenstein, who was an important figure in the Pop Art movement. His use of Ben-Day dots in his artwork as an illusion for lighter tones is part of what made him famous.
Charcoal Illustration
This illustration is charcoal on 'self colored' charcoal paper (charcoal paper colored with conte crayon previous to drawing with charcoal). It is a formal, or triangular, compostion of a still life. The time taken to draw it was aproximately 3 hours.
Marker Illustration
These illustrations of Buzz Lightyear and Gordie Howe were completed using Prismacolor markers and colored pencil. The time taken on each was approximately 3 hours. Thanks to Garth Glazier for teaching me this technique in rendering.
