The purpose of this website is to provide the viewer with a portal page containing all of the class assignments from MACA 1840, that will provide links to individual project folders.
The webpage is required to include: My Name, the class name MACA 1840, the MCC logo, this Statement about page purpose, Navigation buttons for each assignment, and an identity element about you: image(s), illustration, favorite quote, statement. I will build this website using Sementic UI and it will be a single page website.
The user will be informed and provided with samples for each assignment that is in class MACA 1840. This will peak the interests of students whom attend MCC to the web interactive program. Therefore, become more likely to take this class in the future.
The navigation buttons will be simple icons that represent the projects that each button links to. The buttons will layed out in a grid on the bottom of the page and colored using my color scheme. I chose to make the navigation buttons simple icons because I wanted to make it easy for the user to tell what each button linked to. I also am using tooltips to make sure the user knows what each button is.
The focal point of the page will be the hero image. My hero image will be a picture of me that was edited creatively and colored using the different shades of blue that are part of my color palette. The overall feel for this website will be cheerful and clean and I will also include my personal logo.
My color scheme with be shades of blues, gray and green.
