When the consoles were first released, Microsoft did not get the response the had hoped for. Hoping to make up for that, they have now dropped this monster of a machine. Powered with 4k resolution graphics and 6 teraflops, the Xbox One X plans to take over the game.

For the headings, I used Montserrat. A clean looking sans-serif font which has a modernist style. Where I have Playfair Display as the body type. Which is also a modern, serif font with high contrast strokes to bring your eye across the words.

I paired the two fonts because they both share common letter shapes. The sans-serif keeps a bold, eye-catching look. While the serif keeps things light and easy to read.

Released a year before the Xbox One X, the Playstation 4 Pro shocked the world with being the first home console dedicated to 4k graphics. Now that Microsoft unveiled their own 4k game system, can the Ps4 Pro survive?

I have put Alfaslab One as the heading font. It has an extreme stem weight, big serifs and more stem contrast. Which gives it a contemporary look. The body font is Gentium, a highly readable, reasonably compact font.

My font pairing for this page comes from the weight differences of the two fonts. Alfaslab One has this thick wide presence that makes you wonder what it's trying to tell you. Where as the Gentium font is much thinner font that takes up less space. Allowing more room for type. Both of the fonts share similar characteristics with their it's letter shapes.
