GREY WOLF

North America, Eurasia

Also known as the timber wolf and the western wolf. Grey wolves travel in packs consisting of a mated pair and their offspring. Wolves hunt and feed on mostly hooved animals such as horses and large livestock.

JAGUAR

SW US, Mexico, Central America, Paraguay, Argentina

The jaguar resembles the leopard but is larger and sturdier. A jaguar stalks and ambushes it's prey. They bite the skull of their prey and fatally pierce the brain to kill.

SALTWATER CROCODILE

India, Asia, Australia

The saltwater croc is capable of taking on any animal it comes across. Because of it's size, they are the most dangerous crocodile to humans.

GREAT WHITE SHARK

All major oceans

Great whites live 70 years or more, and swim over 35 mph. It is ranked first in fatal and unprovoked attacks on humans by predatory fish, even though humans are not their preferred prey.

COUGAR

Also known as a mountain lion, puma, or panther. Cougars are soitary animals and are mostly nocturnal. Cougars ambush their prey, mostly deer and livestock. They rarely attack humans.

BALD EAGLE

North America

Bald eagles cna fly over 40 mph and their lifespan is approximately 20 years. They feed mostly on fishbut they also eat other water fowl, rabbits, raccoons, beavers,squirrels and occasionally small livestock. They are scavengers and will eat road kill or the prey of other predators.
